Third Palestinian Intifada
الانتفاضة الفلسطينية الثالثة

As a general rule Five Minutes for Israel doesn’t link to Destroy Israel Lobby sites but here we make an exception, for such a clear case. If you look up Third Palestinian Intifada on Facebook you will find not one but at least nine pages. In a sense, that’s a clever tactic. The largest one has (at writing) 50,714 people who like this and is still up. As you report the page another will spring up, probably with fake admins.  Report them all!

How dangerous?

For the record, the First Intifada  led to an estimated 1,100 dead Palestinians at the hands of Israeli forces and Palestinians killed 164 Israelis . Palestinians killed an estimated 1,000 other Palestinians as alleged collaborators, although fewer than half had any proven contact with the Israeli authorities.

In the Second Intifada the death toll, including both military and civilian, is estimated to be 6500 Palestinians and over 1100 Israelis, as well as 64 foreigners. As in the First Intifada, Palestinians murdered their own . An estimated 674  were slaughtered in internecine conflict.

What does Facebook Say?

Facebook’s user agreement quite explicitly prohibits such incitement to violence:

“You will not post content that: is hateful, threatening, or pornographic; incites violence; or contains nudity or graphic or gratuitous violence.”

How to report to Facebook

Report to Facebook

We recommend you click on the link “Report Page” located just under the number of “Likes” on the left hand side of the page, and submit the  complaint under the credible threat of violence category.

It doesn’t guarantee the page will be removed or the admins banned but the more complaints the more likely this is. On one of the pages, they threaten to boycott Facebook if the page is removed. Win-Win, I say. Let’s help them – out.
