When Jerusalem was under Jordanian occupation 1948–1967 visiting the Kotel† was prohibited by the bayonets of Jordanian soldiers. The Advertising Standards Association (UK) seem to think they can forbid it by administrative decree. We can not be quiet about this.
Each year millions of visitors, Jewish and non Jewish come to Jerusalem, specifically to visit the Kotel, the last remaining remnant of Solomon’s Temple and Judaism’s holiest site. Celebrities, sports people and politicians come to be photographed, ask God for intervention and/or pray. Is there a tourist who has come to Israel and not visited the Kotel?
You can see tourists and locals at the Wall for yourself through the Live Kotel cam
Here is small gallery of celebrity pictures found on the Internet. The order is random.
Five Minutes for Israel is happy to add to them if you direct us to the appropriate link.
