Graphic Change

04 September 2012

New banner

You may notice I have changed the Five Minutes for Israel banner at the top of each page. Why? Because I felt like it. Many, many thanks to Eliyahu Ben Ze’ev (AKA Andy Alpern) from the Israel Panorama Gallery who gave permission to use one of his panoramas for the previous banner. Check his work out.

In the new banner the clock remains for continuity and because this is still Five Minutes for Israel, even with some change of emphasis. If you look closely, you will see Tel Aviv at night fading into Jerusalem at dusk. It may be easier to see in the full colour version. (Reload if the the blue version is up). I made a deliberate decision to pick a view from the Mount of Olives showing the walls but not the iconic mosques. Instead you see the modern building s and development that is the Jerusalem where most people live and work.

Hope you like the change.
