On the street, outside J Street

Are you in Washington, DC for the weekend? Demonstrate outside the J Street conference†

I have just noticed that J Street’s annual conference takes place this weekend. This was really remiss of me not to keep track. It wasn’t worth their while to give too much publicity, outside America, I guess . Also to be fair I was wallowing in schadenfreude†† at the various scandals in the past twelve months.

You can read more juicy details at J Street Exposes ItselfJ Street keeps accumulating scandals,  Billionaire George Soros revealed as mystery J Street donor and More J Street scandal

It may be too late to organise formally but think how effective a small, spontaneous demonstration by people who are really pro Israel could be. Remember to tip off the press – they, too,  are pissed off at being lied to by Jeremy Ben-Ami. Even one person, at the conference, with a suitably catchy poster, might gain national coverage. Even an interview. That would really get get this now a Jew~not now a Jew, pro-Israel~not now pro-Israel pseudo organization mad.

BTW Has any one noticed the subtle change of image at J Street. It is now the political home for pro-Israel, pro-Peace Americans.

Jews? Not so much. 🙁

†† Schadenfreude means ‘mischievous delight derived from the misfortunes of others’.This German word is used as a loanword in English and some other languages. Like gloating, only more so.
