Spreading the word

The last Five Minutes for Israel Action Item (see: Fenton paid to demonise Israel) was unusual for us. We don’t usually just link to a post and ask Israel Advocates to simply pass it along. Usually we ask readers to comment online, sign a petition or vote in an online poll. Occasionally we recommend attending an event but that is problematic for a global site.

After reading Fresno-Zionism’s article I looked for confirmation on the Fenton Communications website. This high profile company normally doesn’t hide its light under a bushel.

So what did I find about Fenton Communications’ entirely legal business deal with Qatar?
Zero, zilch, zip – nothing.

Is Fenton, famous for stating: No wonder we at Fenton Communications don’t like to be asked at parties what we do for a living, just a little embarrassed by their connections, albeit indirect with Hamas? Come to think of it. Were they embarrassed by their connection with Qatar†?

What can be done?

Fenton may be quite coy about Qatar but not about its other clients. Let them know who they are in bed with.

We only work for the clients, causes and brands we believe in.

†On the other hand with the outright lies spread about Israel by organisations as Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch why should anyone believe them about Qatar?

‡ Two-thirds of Qatar’s 800,000 inhabitants are migrant workers, mostly from Sri Lanka, Nepal, Pakistan, India, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Once but no longer there were Palestinians. After Saddam Hussein, they were simply expelled.
